I strongly believe that therapy must facilitate a safe and trusting therapeutic environment. A therapeutic environment is an essential building block that assists clients to enter into cognitive and emotional analysis. Identifying the interrelationship of how specific cognitions relate to feelings and behavior often leads to profound change. I have noticed that therapy often becomes enlightening for individuals who are able to recognize how their affective behavioral patterns relate to their thought patterns. Personal phenomenology is unique and shaped through the experiences we encounter on a moment to moment basis. Therapy is a place that welcomes all types of experiences. My hope is that clients accomplish their goals through the use of powerful therapeutic interventions along side a nurturing/ healthy therapeutic relationship.
